Task pane & note window appear left of map instead of right
I have always had the task panes and notes window and browser window open to the right of the map. Today they appear on the left... If I close notes window (Ctrl-T) or any of them and then reopen they KEEP appearing on the left... I see no option to move them back to the right!
Please help!

Inaki, try clicking on the MindManager button, then the MindManager Options button. Choose General Options and check that the Left handed user interface box (towards the bottom of the box) is unticked.

Thanks, that solved the issue!!
Also do you know how you can have Mindjet open weblinks in regular program (I use Chrome) instead of automatically opening an internal pane?

Sure - click on the Home tab. Under Topic Elements you will find the Hyperlink button with an arrow underneath. Click on the arrow and when the menu appears, deselect Use Built-in Browser for Hyperlinks.

Re: Task pane & note window appear left of map instead of right
Thanks a lot, you´ve been most helpful!!
One last question... Is there an easy way (keboard shortcut) to move from task or text pane to map without using mouse?
Currently I can only switch from text pane to map with Ctrl-T but whenever I want to, say post the percentage of completion of a task and do this for several branches I have to switch back and forth with the mouse between map and pane.

Re: Task pane & note window appear left of map instead of right
This is an interesting question - especially as I mainly use the mouse!
You're right - Ctrl+T will switch the Notes pane on and off. However, looking at the list of MM keyboard shortcuts, the only one I can find that relates to the task panes is Ctrl+Shift+N, which switches the Map Parts Pane on and off.
However, you don't need to go to a task pane to change percentage completed for a topic. Just left click with the mouse on the task complete icon for the topic - every click will advance the icon by 25%. If you right click the task complete icon a drop-down menu should appear with the quartile icons and an item to choose from additional percentage complete icons (such as 10%, 35%, etc).
Even if you have to do this on a topic-by-topic basis, its much faster than going to the task pane.

Re: Task pane & note window appear left of map instead of right
That does NOT work (task complete selection) unless you first have the task complete icon.... Why isn´t there a general Ctrl-Tab or Alt tab to switch between panes and map (and Ctrl-PgUP/Down to move across task pane, map part pane, etc.)
I find it very frustrating to not be able to assign task completion or icons or whatever to a branch WITHOUT using the mouse... There SHOULD be a way...
Any ideas?

Re: Task pane & note window appear left of map instead of right
I agree that's its unfortunate that the task panes can't be called up in this manner, but there there is another way to insert a task complete icon without using the pane: right click the whole topic, click on or type M to choose Icon Markers from the menu and click on the marker you want.
