Post Automatic colors
I am using mindmanager 6 pro. Does anybode know how I can get the branches from the main topic automatically colored? E.g the first branch blue, the second red, the third green etc.

This is not a standard functionality of Mindmanager 6 (also not of version 7), so the only way this could be done is via a macro or add-in.

Great idea though :)

Whilst it is true that you would need an add-in or a macro to generate automatic colours, there is a work-around, which I posted a little while ago:

Assuming you have a standard range of, say, eight colours that you want to use, you can create a series of blank topics, each formatted with a different colour from that range. Save these each as a separate map part (simply click on the map part tab, highlight each topic and click on Add Selected Topics). To use these in future just click on the central topic or a main topic and then click on the map part with the relevant colour to add it as a blank topic or sub-topic.

This approach isn't automatic but once you set it up you can add a different coloured topic or sub-topic with just one click. If you use the same range and number of main topics or sub-topics consistently you can also highlight the group and save as a map part so you can add the whole group to new maps with one click.
